We alluded to these minicar concepts from Chevrolet when we revealed the Chevy Trax in our April 2 issue. The Trax, the Beat and the Groove represent three different takes on the minicar theme-and all are designed to show that tiny fuel-efficient cars need not be boring.

All three five-seat concepts run on Daewoo's global, Korean-built, small-car chassis that underpins the Chevrolet Spark and the Daewoo Matiz, but each has a unique powertrain. Dimensionally, the cars ride on wheelbases about 11 inches shorter than that of the Chevy Aveo.
