DDC president Jacob Banda presented a report to more than 200 members of the club at the annual meeting of the Diamond Dealers Club held on February 1. Banda said it was crucial for the club to focus on economic developments and to encourage more business for members. In order to do this, he recommended that members take advantage of the services provided by the club.
These included making the Internet work for the members. The Internet, he said, was a fact of life, and the DDC website had some 250,000 stones listed.
