Apr. 15--For the first time in a little more than a decade, Ted Neeley will be returning to the RiverPark Center in the role he made famous.

"Jesus Christ Superstar" will be in town April 23 with Neeley as Jesus and Corey Glover of the band Living Colour as Judas. Neeley headlined the first touring company of "Jesus Christ Superstar" before tackling the title role in the film in 1973. He was nominated for two Golden Globes for his performance in the movie. "It's such a celebration for me to be able to know that I've been involved with something that people enjoy, that people find a special place in their hearts for," Neeley said. …
