Apr. 15--Residents have their chance Tuesday to speak about nearly $30 million in proposed public financing to make transportation improvements and move a rail line in the Bryton development. The Mecklenburg County commissioners will hear public comment Tuesday, then could vote on whether to borrow the money. The project is planned across from North Mecklenburg High School. The proposal also includes an agreement with Huntersville to use new town and county tax revenues from the project to pay back the debt.
