SEA floats a vision of national e-content

' jisc conference report

The public sector comes a step closer to co-ordinating its e-content this month when the Strategic E-content Alliance (SEA) decides from a number of options how best to achieve the vision of public sector use and re-use of trusted electronic resources.

SEA also wants to attract a wide range of expert contributions to make sure the project reflects user needs.

Stuart Dempster, the alliance's project director, said: "There is a lot of goodwill towards this project but, like all ambitious initiatives, it requires expertise."

SEA will issue invitations to tender by summer for specific work and create special interest groups.
