Select Desktop Publishing
In this age, there's something faintly quaint about the term 'desktop publishing' as a software category. After all, almost any desktop application able to output user-designed materials could be described as a publishing program. Even so, if you want to produce booklets, flyers, brochures or other printed material that need flair, a desktop publishing program is the right tool for the job -- and Select Desktop Publishing is a fantastic example of the genre.
This is in fact version 8.0 of the great Serif PagePlus, renamed and at a budget price. It may be a few versions behind the latest edition of PagePlus but the software essentially matured several years ago.
