NEW YORK -- In an attempt to gauge whether dining habits change after implementation of this city's new law requiring the on-menu disclosure of calorie content by some restaurants, the municipal DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND MENTAL HYGIENE is offering $2 MetroCards, which buys a one-way ride on subways or buses, to diners in exchange for their meal receipts.
