A few columns back, I dared say "climate change'' in a car magazine. I knew it would irritate everyone, but I think car-smart Americans should be engaged in the discussion. When I suggested we should ease off on debating global warming itself and get involved in discussing solutions, I didn't really mean to sign on with Al Gore and his "The debate is over'' declaration, but I see how some could read it that way.
