- Why did you become a nurse?

I'm one of those nurses who never really considered doing anything else As a child I thought jobs like working as an air hostess would be glamorous (not realising that it is really hard work), but none of these thoughts lasted more than a few days and I kept coming back to nursing.

- How has your career developed since you started nursing?

After qualifying, I started my career in palliative care. I then moved to oncology, did some agency work in all sorts of settings and came back to palliative care. A house move meant I had to leave my job, and I worked with a company doing drug trails before entering practice nursing. …
