The management merry-go-round continues at Micrografx Inc., where the board of directors last week replaced CEO and president Gordon Tucker with cofounder and chairman J. Paul Grayson.
Tucker, hired away from PepsiCo Inc. last September to replace Paul's brother George, was not fired for a lack of vision, company insiders said.
"He was so energetic and full of ideas that he was too impatient to allow second-, third-, and fourth-level managers to execute the plan," said a company source. "He wanted to get his hands in all the time -- it was a style issue that was his demise."
