Contract offers evidence office tower may be built next year
DOWNTOWN -- Turner Construction Co. has been hired as lead contractor on the Cultural Trust's planned $45 million office and theater complex, a project that could be under construction by mid-1995.
James Mitnick, Turner vice president and head of its Pittsburgh office, said th firm will be the general contractor on the office portion and construction manager on the 650-seat theater. The performance hall is to be the new $17.5 million home of the Pittsburgh Public Theater.
