There was greatness in the air last night.

It was in 9-year-old Mitchell Easter's voice, a soaring alto, that was part of the Richmond Boys Choir for his first time before a large audience.

It was in the standing ovation afforded Lt. Col. Howard Baugh, who two days earlier received the Congressional Gold Medal of Freedom in the U.S. Capitol Rotunda with other members of the famed Tuskegee Airmen.
