FRANCE'S CMA CGM is to acquire Moroccan national shipping company Comanav for Dirhams2.25bn ($268m) but has declined to name its partners in the operation, writes Andrew Spurrier in Paris.
The French group is to pay barely more than the Dirhams2.2bn minimum price set for the company by the Moroccan government.
The company indicated that it is not alone in the operation but the head of a consortium.
On Friday, however, a group spokesman declined to give the name of the group's partners until the takeover is completed, probably in about two months.
