ADHERE to Tan Sri Mohd Sidek Hassan's directive.

That's what the public want Government departments and agencies to do in response to the Chief Secretary to the Government's challenge that telephone calls to the departments and agencies are answered by the third ring.

The Malay Mail spoke to members of the public yesterday and these were their views.

* Zuraidah Ismail, 30, trader, Kajang Government departments must take each phone call seriously.

It's their responsibility to attend to all calls because they are serving the taxpayers.
