AXA Insurance is optimistic that an alliance with Honda will help increase its motor insurance premiums to 55% of its total sales this year from about 50% last year. ''Our main focus is to achieve double-digit growth in gross written premiums or an increase of 15-20%,'' said Kheedhej Anansiriprapha, CEO of the French-Thai joint venture.

''We are committed to moving more aggressively this year into motor insurance,'' he said, pointing to AXA's selection late last year as a member of the official panel of insurers for the Japanese …
