A GAMUDA Bhd, WCT Engineering Bhd and China-based Sinohydro Corp tripartite joint venture has been awarded additional jobs worth RM200 million at the New Doha International Airport (NDIA) in Qatar, topping up their contract to RM2 billion from RM1.88 billion.
"The NDIA steering committee has approved RM200 million more jobs for us to do. Among the variation orders issued is the contruction of a 2km tunnel underneath the taxiway, connecting the free trade zone to the terminal," Sinohydro-Gamuda-WCT project director Param Sivalingam said.
