THE Transport Ministry is fine-tuning the Road Transport Department's Road Safety Demerit System (Kejara).

Sources in the Ministry revealed that a meeting was held yesterday to revise the system.

The meeting involved senior officials from the Ministry and Road Transport Department.

"We cannot reveal much at the moment as it's still in discussion stage," said a source.

Road Transport Department director-general Ahmad Mustapha Abdul Rashid confirmed the meeting but declined to elaborate.
