Self-reflection is an issue rarely considered by teachers. After continuous practice and years of service, teachers gain experience and are grounded in their work. They find, over time, that certain methods are successful with different groups of learners while others are less rewarding. Through continuous evaluation they become confident about the teaching methods they employ. Once they are confident, do they need to do more?
