from BERNAMA, The Malaysian National News Agency KUALA LUMPUR, March 23 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Professional Golfers Association (MPGA) has decided to fine 48 players who participated in the unsanctioned Selangor Masters held at the Seri Selangor Golf Club last month

According to MPGA secretary S. Selvakumar, under the MPGA's constitution, players could be expelled for playing in unsanctioned tournaments but in this case its Disciplinary Committee recommended that a fine of RM5,000 for each player be imposed
