Lucio Tan-controlled flag carrier Philippine Airlines, Inc. (PAL) is set to complete by end-June the automation of its ticketing service for all routes, with total investments for the program expected to hit $2.5 million.

With its completion, PAL can now earmark additional investments to comply with another global industry requirement - the issuance of bar-coded boarding passes to passengers to allow them to check in online.
