Mar. 22--An art exhibit by a select group of Charlotte-Mecklenburg students and teachers will open Friday at the McColl Center for Visual Art in Charlotte's uptown. It's actually two exhibits -- one by the art center's Teacher-in-Residence participants, and another by students of those teachers. The Art Teacher-in-Residence program annually provides a three-month residency for a CMS art teacher. During that time, the teacher works at the McColl Center for Visual Arts, and CMS provides a substitute at that art teacher's school.
