Mar. 21--KISSIMMEE -- Former state Rep. John Quinones, community activist Armando Ramirez and local attorney Frank DeNike were the winners of three special primaries Tuesday to fill two Osceola County Commission seats. Quinones, a Republican, and Ramirez, a Democrat, handily won their primaries for District 2, the majority-Hispanic seat created as the result of a federal voting-rights suit. They will join "no party-affiliation" candidates Mark Cross and Joe Ed Day on the April 24 general-election ballot.
