SHENZHEN, March 21, SinoCast -- TD Tech Ltd. has been taking an active part in the bidding battle related to TD-SCDMA, the China-patented 3G standard, confirmed a senior executive from the company's Chinese parent Huawei Technologies.

Huawei Technologies and Siemens jointly invested USD 100 million to set up TD Tech in 2004, and both sides vowed to spare no efforts in growing the venture into the best player in the TD-SCDMA access system sector, disclosed Xu Zhijun, CMO of Huawei Technologies.
