After a year's absence from clay target shooting, Peter Hays shot an excellent 39/50 to win the Limuru Gun Club's Nderi Cup championship at Ruiru.

Hays outshot a field of 18 to take the top spot at the weekend, followed by a fantastic performance from 13-year-old Graham Mckittrick in second position on 34/50 after a shoot-off with Johnny Gent in third place on the same score. The competition is shot over all three clay shooting disciplines, namely English Skeet, Trap and Sporting.
