To many villagers, a police officer is a strong person who protects them from all manner of harm, including deadly animals.

But a village in Bomet District was stunned by a recent vicious attack on four police officers by a leopard.

For five days, the leopard attacked villagers, injuring 12 of them and killing their animals.
