Former KWS Boss Suffers Setback.

Former Kenya Wildlife Service director Evans Mukolwe yesterday lost a bid to produce in court a ministerial statement explaining the game rangers recruitment scandal, in whose wake he was shown the door in 2004.

High Court judge John Osiemo ruled that Mr Mukolwe lacked the mandate to produce the document read to Parliament on November 9, 2004 by then acting Tourism minister Raphael Tuju.

Mr Mukolwe had told the court he would produce the statement in support of his Sh1.6 billion claim case against the Government and KWS, which he has sued for wrongful sacking.
