Section: General News - MFC Asset Management and the Stock Exchange of Thailand will propose that the Finance Ministry approve the establishment of a second Vayupak Fund to oversee state-owned assets, the Bangkok Post reports.

Pichit Akrathit, the president of MFC Asset Management, said the Vayupak 2 Fund would be set up similar to Vayupak 1 as a closed-ended, 10-year fund with an asset size of around 100 billion baht.

''The fund will help increase investment options for institutional investors, as well as help boost the capital market,'' Dr Pichit said.

He said the Finance Ministry currently had about 60 billion …
