Mar. 16--Extra counselors were called to West Charlotte High School Thursday after the death of a respected teacher left some students so emotionally shaken they required medical attention. Charlotte-Mecklenburg schools officials say Rosina Izzard, who taught exceptional children and coached West Charlotte's varsity cheerleading squad, died Thursday morning at a local hospital. When word reached the campus, some students were so shaken that paramedics had to be summoned. Medic, Mecklenburg's ambulance service, took one student to Presbyterian Hospital and another to Carolinas Medical Center-University. Both students had medical conditions that may…
