Mar. 15--Extra counselors were called to West Charlotte High School Thursday after the death of a respected teacher left some students so emotionally shaken they required medical attention. Charlotte-Mecklenburg schools officials say Rosina Izzard, West Charlotte's varsity cheerleading coach, died Thursday morning at a local hospital. When word reached the campus, some students were so shaken paramedics had to be summoned. MEDIC took one student to Presbyterian Hospital and another to Carolinas Medical Center-University. MEDIC said both students had pre-existing medical conditions that may have been exacerbated by news of Izzard's death.…
