A Deuce is a Deuce
Maybe I'm getting old, or too nostalgic, but whatever happened to Deuce coupes with flathead V8s, or even Cadillacs or old Hemis? There is nothing wrong with 700-hp Chevys and high-tech twin-cam V8s, but do they belong in a '30s roadster? I don't think so. I plan to go to the "Deuce at 75'' event, and I hope to see some nice cars built in the style of street rods of the late '40s and '50s. That is what a '32 Ford custom should be.

Out of the box
The '08 Scion xB is a disappointment. I bought my '06 xB because it was different, loaded with features, good on gas and affordable out of the "box.'' The '08 looks like a conventional bore. If I wanted boring, I'd buy a Camry.
