Police resorted to lathi charge and pelting bricks on lawyers who took out a procession here on Monday against the suspension of Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry.

About 100 lawyers, including Senator Latif Khosa, Secretary Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) Zulfiqar Bokhari, vice-president Lahore Bar Association (LBA), Azmat Ullah and Mehreen, MNA, sustained injuries due to police action.
