Court report: Suspected getaway driver in robbery to be extradited.

Mar. 13--The suspected driver of the getaway car in a March 4 shooting of a store clerk in Portland made a brief appearance Monday in Clark County District Court.

Shamarke M. Hassan, 25, told Judge Vernon Schreiber he would waive his right to an extradition hearing and agree to be transferred to Multnomah County.

Hassan was arrested over the weekend in Vancouver during a traffic stop.

Last week, the suspected shooter, Jimmy M. Kashi, was arrested in Vancouver. He also faces charges in a Feb. 27 robbery of a Minit Mart in the Harney Heights neighborhood and is a suspect in a string of robberies this year in …
