Tired of trattorias? Italy's Renaissance city finally has a hip eatery. Tucked along the Arno River in the Bohemian district of Santo Spirito, this newcomer puts a modern spin on the city's medieval grandeur.
Ambience: The whitewashed wood floors and gray and ecru interior offer a calming respite after a dizzying day of art. The narrow first floor opens up to a tiny terrace with four tables overlooking the Arno.
