It's a learner, meaner world in Pasco economic development circles. The county's four chambers of commerce and its Committee of 100 spent much of the past year refining their programs and reshaping their business approaches.
Most visible were changes made at the Pasco Committee of 100. There, the board of directors went from 29 people to four. Three additional board members will be elected at the committee's August annual meeting.
"We all agreed we probably needed a smaller board that was going to be more focused," said Dan Aldridge, president of the committee and vice president of Jireh, a Tarpon Springs-based property management company.
