Byline: Jane Stevens and Simon Clamp of Fantasy Cricket sponsors Friends Provident pick out their dream teams
Friends Provident and FTAdviser is offering a Fantasy Cricket competition to run alongside this springs' cricket World Cup in the West Indies. Now you can be part of the action in the Caribbean and pick up some great prizes along the way.
Registering could not be easier - just visit www.friendsfantasycricket.com. The first 2000 people to register will be entered in to a prize draw with the chance of winning an HD TV, ideal for sitting back and watching all those cliched shots of fans hanging out of trees and kids playing cricket on the beach.
The overall prize is a trip for two to see England play in Sri Lanka in January 2008, staying for seven nights in four-star accommodation.
At the end of each round, the top manager from that stage will win two VIP tickets to see England play India at Lords this summer.
All you need to do to be in with a chance of winning is visit the website, register and pick your team. Every player in a team involved in the World Cup is listed and has been given a value between one and five stars.
Teams must have four bowlers, five batsmen, a wicket-keeper and an all-rounder. Players will pick up points each game for every 10 runs they score, wickets taken, catches, stumpings and run outs. They also get points added or deducted if the team wins or loses.
If you have trouble telling your googly from your off-break then our guide is here to steer you in the right direction. This week we ask two of the first entrants, from sponsors Friends Provident, about their teams.
