Mar. 11--Aubrey Jensen helped make her wish come true.
Jensen, a 5-foot-6 guard, scored five of her 11 points in overtime as Issaquah finished the girls basketball season on a high note with a 51-45 victory against Auburn Mountainview for fifth place in the Class 3A state tournament Saturday at Edmundson Pavilion.
"I wanted to go out with a win, for sure," said a red-eyed Jensen, one of four seniors for the Eagles (22-7). "As soon as we went into overtime, I said, 'We're just going to win this game right now.' It was a really good game to end on. I'm just sad it's over."
