THE three public figures named in the multi-million Nsimbe Housing Estate scam in which Shs8 billion was allegedly lost, should for the time being, count themselves lucky.

Before judges went on an indefinite strike, the Constitutional Court halted an arrest order issued against former gender and labour minister Zoe Bakoko Bakoru, former National Social Security Fund (NSSF) boss Leonard Mpuuma and businessman James Isabirye of Mugoya Housing Estates.

Ms Bakoko and Mr Mpuuma are jointly charged with Mr Jeff Onegi Obel, with abuse of office, while Mr Isabirye is accused of bribing his …
