Mar. 4--All five principals are now in place for next school year's full-scale launch of the "schools within a school" approach at Garinger High School. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg School Board voted Tuesday to appoint three principals to head the "mini" high schools starting in August at Garinger. Two other mini programs already are under way at the school, which, starting next school year, will have all its students enrolled in one of the specialized high schools.
