Francistown councillors have expressed misgivings about the closure of the Francistown council abattoir. In his speech during the full council meeting on Monday, the mayor, Buti Billy announced that the council abattoir was closed on January 26, for maintenance. "Local butcheries are currently being serviced by BMC.
