7 TO 10 POINTS

Too-Close Chick

You superglue yourself to men in an effort to deepen your bond. But chomping at the bit to be his girlfriend or hugging him like a straitjacket postsex screams desperate. "Being overly eager can suffocate or scare off men," says John Valentis, PhD, coauthor of Romantic Intelligence.

So ease up. "At first, only reveal your feelings once he does," suggests Barton Goldsmith, PhD, author of Emotional Fitness for Couples. "It piques his curiosity." And becoming more unavailable amps your appeal too. Get involved in an activity you love or hang out with pals. When your life is rich, you won't be antsy for male approval.

4 TO 6 POINTS

Well-Bonded Babe

If a guy you dig wants to take things to the next level, you happily agree but don't go as overboard with glee as an American Idol winner. You also understand each other's need for space. If he's upset, for instance, you let him know you're there for him without feeling compelled to grill him till he pours his heart out to you.
