Zamboanga City - Art enthusiasts converged at the Western Mindanao State University's social and cultural hall over the weekend to witness a rare exhibit that focused on the indigenous peoples' unique visual arts.
The exhibit, Indigenous Peoples' Visual Art Show, is a collaboration between the Western Mindanao State University and the local artist group Artes de Zamboanga. The exhibit is the 5th held in the city since the project started in 2006, and the first in this year's series of six shows the Kalinawa Art Foundation will stage.
