An opposition party has written to embattled Botswana National Front (BNF) leader Otsweletse Moupo to pay up P12,000 by tomorrow. In a letter dated February 17, BAM treasurer Moseki Mathodi says that the money is part of the P50,000 they were supposed to get from the P150,000 given by a secret sponsor for the 2004 general elections.

The money was channelled through Moupo's troubled law firm to be shared equally between BAM, BNF and Botswana Peoples' Party (BPP) at the rate of P50,000 each. It became evident last year - two years after the general election - that Moupo had never …
