Vice-President Atiku Abubakar yesterday in Abeokuta promised better days for the police and massive employment for qualified youths in the country. Atiku made the promise, while speaking at the presidential campaign rally. He also pledged that the Lagos-Abeokuta expressway would be widened from four lanes to eight lanes, if he was voted to power in April.

"We will not only complete the network of roads, especially the Lagos-Abeokuta expressway, we will widen it by making it eight lanes because it is the traditional road linking the southern and northern parts of the country together," he said. …
