[Presenter] President Lansana Conte has named Lansana Kouyate as prime minister to replace Eugene Camara whose naming caused a stir in Guinea .

Lansana Kouyate is a former diplomat, he notably held high positions at the UN and ECOWAS [Economic Community of West African States]. His name was proposed by the trade unions and the civil society. Reporting from Conakry, Olivier Roger.
