KUALA LUMPUR: While going bald may not be every woman's reaction to a bad hair day, Britney Spears' head-shaving escapade is not as weird as it seems.

A chartered psychologist here said the pop icon could have been acting under pressure when she marched into a salon in Los Angeles and shaved her head bald. "Looking at her relationship with Kevin Federline, it was probably one of the reasons which led to her shaving her head," said Prof Dr Sarinah Low Abdullah.

She said Britney could not have been proud of her new bald head because soon after shaving it, she started donning a wig. …
