KUALA LUMPUR: The MIC is lending a hand to more than 4,000 small businesses run by Indians to push their combined annual turnover to RM1 billion within four years.
The party will provide training and loans while its economic bureau has come up with a four-year action plan to help them.
The plan targets businesses with annual sales amounting to RM50,000.
MIC president Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu said the move would help the businessmen who relied on moneylenders to finance their businesses.
