OLYMPUS Malaysia has introduced a new lineup of its compact digital cameras from the alpha (mju) and SP series. The three new models - the alpha760, alpha770 SW and SP-550UZ - are designed to withstand harsh climate conditions.

The 7.1-megapixel alpha760 is fully sealed to shoot pictures under all kinds of weather conditions - rain, snow and even dusty conditions. With Dual IS in this model, shaky images can be easily avoided.

(Dual IS refers to a combination of charge coupled device-shift IS and high ISO sensitivity that provides protection against blurring caused by camera shake and subject motion.) The alpha770 …
