Feb. 23--A Wichita investor, hoping to draw on tourists from Wild West World, has proposed buying McPherson County's Old Mill Museum complex in Lindsborg and turning it into a "Little Sweden" living-history attraction.
The 15-acre complex is currently owned by McPherson County and features 12 buildings, including the 1898 Smoky Valley Roller Mill and the 1904 World's Fair Swedish Pavilion, both listed on the National Register of Historic Properties.
Lindsborg city officials refused to name the private investor on Wednesday, saying he has asked to remain anonymous.
They did say the Wichita investor is working on a deadline and if the project isn't put together within the next few months, he will walk away from Lindsborg and carry through with a similar…
