Results from the Sunnybrook Dementia Cohort study

A 2-year study investigating the effects of cholinesterase inhibitors in patients with Alzheimer's disease found that subjects treated with cholinesterase inhibitors (N=58) showed significantly less decline in cognitive function than non-treated subjects (N=34), based on the Mini-Mental State Examination, the total Mattis Dementia Rating Scale, and conceptualization subscore, the …
