Feb. 21--The U.S. Supreme Court sent a clear message to Oregon judges Tuesday as they struck down a $79.5 million verdict against tobacco giant Philip Morris for second time in four years.
Get it right.
In sending the case back to Oregon for the second time, the court offered a new reason, rejecting how the jury came to the number. Last time, the court said the award was too big.
